Así que, cuando la copa se termina, os levantáis y en menos de 10 minutos en coche, ya sin estrés en el cuerpo, la ciudad se apaga y la selva aparece. Grillos, brisa, y el sonido de unos coaties buscando su cena.

Aparcas en casa.
Abres la puerta.
Y todo vuelve a su sitio.

La calma.
La intimidad.
La sensación de estar exactamente donde tienes que estar.

Te tumbas con tu mujer.
Respiráis.
Descansáis.

Y entiendes, por fin, por qué en esta casa

And just like that, in less than five minutes, some incredible castacán tacos magically appear on your table at Taquería Los Compas, and all you can do is thank God for how amazing your life is.

Suddenly you’re not tired anymore. You’re not hot. You don’t want the couch.

You’re feeling good. You look at your wife, she looks at you… and without saying a word, you both know what’s next.

—“Shall we take a walk?”

Five minutes later, you’re strolling down Fifth Avenue.
Laughter.
People.
Music.
Life.

And then you see the sign: Zenzi Beach.

Warm lights, sand under your feet, a rock band playing live while, just a few meters away, someone spins flaming torches in a fire show as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

You sit down and choose a cocktail from their more than 50 options. If you ask me, my favorite is the Passion Fruit Mezcalita. You enjoy the show and a great conversation that reminds you why you love living here so much.

So when your drinks are finished, you get up and, in less than 10 minutes by car—your body now free of stress—the city fades away and the jungle appears. Crickets, a gentle breeze, and the sound of coatis searching for their dinner.

You park at home.
You open the door.
And everything falls back into place.

Calm.
Intimacy.
The feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

You lie down with your wife.
You breathe.
You rest.
